Do you want more privacy for your garden, balcony or terrace?
The updated Sekey PVC privacy screen mat can fulfill your wishes. Compared to normal mats, we have improved it in terms of stability and durability .
Stability:
With the inner double reinforcement, our PVC privacy screen is more windproof and stable than others on the market that have only one reinforcement or none at all, so that breakage and bending due to weather reasons are reduced.
Durability:
PVC fence tends to have white marks, which is inconspicuous on our bumpy surface, making it look more beautiful.
The stable and weatherproof mats are therefore perfect for shop windows, swimming pools, cafés, trade fairs or exhibitions. Due to their attractive appearance, they can also be used as a design element.
Please note, however, that even though the PVC privacy fence itself is 100% opaque, it is not 100% opaque because there are 1~2mm gaps between individual slats. The gaps allow air to pass through, which prevents the shrill banging noises from the fabric privacy fence when the wind blows . The PVC privacy fence offers you a quiet and comfortable environment.
High UV resistance:
Our privacy screen also scores points with its high UV resistance. The colors of the PVC mats retain their brightness for a long time and do not fade in a short time.
Installation:
Simply install your mat using the cable ties provided. To keep it secure, we recommend using a cable tie every 25cm, but do not pull too tight.
Danger:
1. Measure the desired size before purchasing. The height of the privacy fence should not exceed the height of the railing by more than 5cm.
2. Avoid free-hanging installation. If installed upright on the ground with a series of stress points on the bottom, it will be more windproof and have a longer service life.
Cuttable size
The length and height of the privacy screens can be shortened with a knife or scissors.
To shorten it, follow these steps:
1. Roll out the fence horizontally, determine the desired length + 3 slats (so that you have enough string to tie knots).
2. Position 5 slats to the left of the desired length, smear each cord from top to bottom with enough superglue.
3. Cut the cords between the slats (desired length + 3 slats) with a knife or scissors after the glue has dried. 4. Remove the 3 slats from the loop.
5. Tie the ends of the cord together and fix them again with superglue on both sides.
6. Shorten the cord ends (if necessary with a lighter).
If the privacy screen is too long, we recommend folding the excess length and attaching it to the railing instead of shortening it . This way the appearance is not affected and the privacy is doubled. Since all PVC privacy screens on the market are made with adhesive joints, shortening requires some skill and the shortening could fail if the steps are not followed exactly!
